Not wonderful. Not bad. Just average. Looks much nicer in pictures but it’s old. Room smelled like it was once a Smoking Room. Parking lot was tiny. Staf was very pleasant.

We were given a room with double beds when we booked two queens, when we moved rooms it was dingy, the carpets were gross, and there was a smell like it had been smoked in. The staff were very accommodating and kind. The accommodations themselves were lacking

I reserved a king size room and when I got there, they saw that I had a pet so they put me in a Queen size room that they used for pets and when I opened the door it smelt like urine and the air conditioner was not on so it was 80° in the room, needless to say I. Sat in front of the air conditioner with my dog so he would stay cool until the room got cooled. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody

Stayed here on the way to Myrtle Beach. Is a clean hotel with friendly staff but definitely older. Everything worked just fine. Bed was comfortable. People were loud in the hallway in the middle of the night but that's no fault of the hotel. Area was a little sketchy but felt safe inside the hotel.

As a smoker, it was obvious our room had been a smoking room in it's previous life. You could smell the sharp smell of nicotine whenever you entered the room. An ozone machine and a deep clean or revert it back to smoking and leave the windows where you can open them. Staff was friendly and the hotel was convenient.

Everythi g was a good here except for one msjor problem, our room was supposed to have a King size bed and it did not, it came with a Queen size bed, and on top of that the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner would work most of the time, the exterior window was screwed shut, the bathtub drained very slow, the shower had ok water pressure and the beds are a little hard. The new owner has just took over and he was working very hard onsite to work on the hotel. Overall we had a good stay. I hope these little things help to make the hotel even better.

Good value for cost
Overall Ok for pass-through one-night visit. Not much to see/do in Hillsville, VA, but no fault of the hotel. Front desk clerk was very friendly in helping with additional pet fee plus a place for dinner.

Not happy
When we got there the door was wide open. There was old food left in the fridge and trash everywhere. Sheet had stains on them and the toilet had been used and wasn’t flushed.
