Weekend getaway!

Overall, our stay was great, it was a weekend getaway for the two of us. we enjoyed strolling on the beach, having drinks at the pool side bar. The indoor pool was awesome. We got great service at The Cafe restaurant...Dianne, Jeanette and Delaine were great!

The bedroom that was assigned to us has this horrible smell like moist. I don’t know if it was coming from the AC vents or where from. We open the sliding doors several times to ventilate the area but still the smell was intense. This hotel needs renovations. It is very nice though and we didn’t put complaints at all.

The place is amazing, especially the rooms and the cleanliness. The only concerns I had was there were no microwave in the room nor in the floor. You have no option to warn your food if you keep it in the refrigerator until you decide to walk to the back of the reception area

This was the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had. The room reeked of mold, with visible mold in the closet, a broken refrigerator that smelled terrible, and signs of old water damage. The bathroom was filthy — hair on the floor and shower, a used hair tie, and dirty surfaces. At 11 PM I had to move rooms because it was so bad, yet the staff offered zero help — I had to haul everything myself with a trolley. Strangely, at checkout they refused to give me a trolley, insisting I use valet so I’d have to tip. The lobby itself had a massive ceiling leak with buckets everywhere. When I complained at checkout and asked about compensation, they didn’t care at all. Between the filth, disrepair, and terrible customer service, this hotel is a disgrace to the Hilton brand.

Reserve the cabana’s. Definitely worth the money. The sun rises and falls without much shade throughout the pool area the entire day. The regular seating and other areas with the umbrellas need to have movable umbrellas to help with shade.

I always wanted to take a vacation here so decided to go for my birthday. I booked the room and paid for it upfront so I would t have to worry about paying for my vacation on vacation and just enjoy spending for myself on myself but ended up unknowingly spending over $50 daily on fees, taxes on fees and self parking that was insufficient. Was told at check in there was $100 hold on my card that would come off when I checked out but instead there was a charge of OVER $100 on my card which is RIDICULOUS!!!! Hotel was nice but will never stay somewhere that you have to pay this much daily after paying so much for a small room with just 2 beds, microwave and fridge.

We enjoyed the multiple pools and access to the beach. I didn't like that the outside bar wasn't utilized. It would be a small win if there was a coffee station. I know there was coffee in the room, but when people are trying to sleep it would be nice to run down to the lobby and grab a hot coffee without paying $5. I'm sure you have your reasons for charging me $15 a day for self parking, but that's not cool.

Our first room was unsanitary, in fact my wife and I noticed the stench of urine somewhere in the room and at the same time my wife dropped her phone on the floor and yep it was urine, still slightly damp urine. The front desk staff at the time did all they could to assist but after that management decided that it would be appropriate to never say anything to us about the incident and unapologetically throw $100 credit at us with absolutely no communication. Our stay at this Hilton hotel was a clear display of how the hospitality and service industry has taken a dive, and doesn't seem to be getting any better. Also, still waiting on a call back from the spa that I called last week to see about setting a couples massage appointment, I'll wait...
