Hotel is under renovation and that comes with hard to find parking, lots of noise during the day and a mess to get in and out of hotel. The reception is in a different building about 1/4 mile away and breakfast also in the different building (not in the hotel). The hallways are super dirty. We had a fire alarm test that lasted about 2 hours…

When we first arrived at check in, we were made aware that the property was under renovation. They warned us that it may be loud beginning at 8:00 am. That was never a major issue. The first night was fine. The beds were comfy and the room was clean enough. However, the water to the building was cutoff in the middle of the night on our second right without warning. We could not take showers, flush the toilet or brush our teeth. My daughter’s friend, who was traveling with us, ended up getting a stomach bug that same night, which you can imagine is not ideal when you can’t flush the toilet. The hotel offered bottles of water and their toilet to use in the main building (which you had to drive to). There was no option for showering. The water had still not been repaired by the time we checked out over 24 hours later. I am certain if we had not had to deal with the water issue and construction, the stay at this hotel would have been a good experience.

Parking was horrible. Insufficient parking spaces. If parked at the remote site there was no lighting and it was dangerous to walk on the unlit pathway. The construction project obstructed entry. Security personnel ewre intrusive.

EXTREME REMODELING!!!!
When we arrived there was no internet. This place is under extreme remodeling!! I travel for work and had to listen to a jack hammer all day!! On Tuesday night one of the construction workers ran into the water pipe and we had no water all day Wednesday. That afternoon they slipped a note under our door stating that it was going to take at least 10 hours for the repair but possibly not have water until the morning! I was stuck in that room all day because my husband had to leave and run calls for our company!! We checked out when he came back. They did however refund us Wednesday but for Tuesday I have to go through the third party app, which is this one, to get Tuesday refunded to me.

We were giving a room that smelled like mold. There was mold spots on the lamps, as well as wet spots. The cabinets were dirty and had residue of God knows what.. so we didn’t use them at all. You could tell they don’t necessarily wipe down surface areas. We kept everything in our bags, and tried not to use the desk or anything else. I’ve stayed at holiday inns before and had no issues with the cleanliness of the room. This time I was definitely disappointed.
