On 4/15 we were awakened by a repeating announcement along with a beep... 'your attention please. there has been a fire detected on your floor. Proceed immediately to an exit stairway. do not use the elevator.' A very disturbing way to wake up! We scrambled to get our clothes on, and were met by a hotel staff person (a lady) who ran up to us and said 'I'm so sorry.,This was only a test. I wish they had waited till 11:00 (am) to do it.' We were relieved but upset at the same time because the announcement we heard was scary. To make matters worse, my roommate went to front desk to voice her concern and was told by a staff person that she would have a manager contact us. The day went by and we heard nothing, so my roommate when to the front desk later that night to ask what was going on. She was dismissed by two sarcastic employees who said they had worked at the hotel through 'two fires' and they had never heard an alarm like we heard...'only beeps.' In essence, they called her a liar! We heard what we heard and would NEVER have scrambled so fast had the announcement not kept repeating that there was a fire on our floor. Why would the front desk staff dismiss us? All in all this was a demeaning experience. All we were offered was a late checkout the next day. Terrible customer service and we feel we are deserving of more than 'late checkout.' Our inclination is to never stay there again. Please contact me. Mick Karch: slickmicksnr1@gmail.com

The worst experience of my life

It was the worst ever first of all hotel.com didn’t complete my reservation and I was greeting without a room nor reservation talked on the phone for 2 1/2 hrs to fix the issue that was never fixed I had to pay out of pocket and I had to make a new reservation and I’m so mad at hotel.com for there mistake and I will be contacting you first thing Monday morning cause I need to be reimbursed and credited points for a free 2day stay for your horrible mix up it was so embarrassing to have to go threw the mix up the worst experience of my life
