Roaches
At first glance everything seemed clean, but there were many roaches in our room. One crawled across my leg in the middle of the night. The blanket was clean but had a brownish stain that looked like it would not wash out. The bed was comfortable but I couldn’t sleep knowing I was sharing it with roaches. The tub felt like it would break and was wobbly. We had an early flight and really only used this to keep our luggage for the evening and a small nap at night, otherwise I would have left and found somewhere else to stay. We thoroughly checked our bags when we got home and luckily no hitchhikers.

We did a late check-in at about 11pm and everything around us was closed. It's hard to find food in this area since it's just a hotel district near the airport. I picked this hotel based on location and it was tucked away in an alley. The taxi driver had to ask one of the security guys on the street to find this hotel. There was one staff working at night but he seemed bored since maybe it was a slow night. The rooms were alright. It had hot showers and had the essentials. A very basic room. Morning consisted of a free breakfast item and drink. Very simple and nothing special. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are just staying a night to catch a flight the next morning. Otherwise there isn't much in this area.

Great bargain hotel near the airport!
I've usually kept to some cheap hotels near Pham Ngu Lao in the past, but Duc Minh is so much closer to the airport, was on an incredibly quiet side road, and had a larger and nicer room than ones I'm used to for similar prices elsewhere. The bathroom especially was considerably nicer than usual with a legitimate shower, the towels were clean, and the AC worked just fine. Check-in (late late at night) and check-out was a breeze as well. The best part though was the quick drive to/from the airport which allowed me to maximize sleep (not to mention the roads in Saigon can have some crazy traffic during the day and getting to the airport from the center of the city can be brutal). I couldn't recommend this hotel enough for airport travelers!

it shoudd be 2 stars hotel.
I make a mistake to book this hotel. It rate 3 stars on Hotel.com but I think it should be less than 2 stars.Don't look on the Photoshop room's pictures, it is very difference when you see it.I was changed the room when the air condition was not working. Free buffet breakfast was not worthy.

Lucky it's close to the airport
Not enough beds as described on Expedia. Not enough towels or sheets. The bath moved dangerously when stood on. There was a cockroach crawling around the floor. I told the reception I needed a taxi for 4:30 am to make my flight. No taxi booked. I had to walk the streets and wake up a driver to take us to airport.
