Nice hotel in center of town

Hotel was beautiful, new and comfortable located at center of town and close to a lot of restaurants and market. Staff was helpful and patient and able to speak English well. They even arranged our city and out of town tour. Definitely will stay again.

By far the best stay I had in Sai Gon. I changed my hotels a lot during my 2 week vacation in Vietnam and this one was my top one to stay. The staff was super helpful, attentive and treated me very well. The room looked really modern and well maintained. Everything was super clean as well. Not sure about the soundproofing but it’s a general issue among hotels. Kudos to the bellmen, they were friendly and polite. Even helped me carry two big heavy suitcases when I got to the wrong location. Highly recommend. I will come back.

I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but the service I received at this hotel inspired me to make the time. The location, customer service, cleanliness, dining options, walk ability, and everything else was great. However, what really shows how much they are willing to go above and beyond happened after I checked out. They offered us free coffee in to go cups for our trip to the hotel along with a nice food gift. But once I got to the airport, I received a WhatsApp message and noticed missed calls from the hotel. They told me that I had forgot my expensive earbuds in the room and they wanted to make sure I received them before I left the country. So one of their staff drove all the way to the airport and parked and took them to me. La Fiesta refused to receive any compensation for this. I will always be grateful for this memorable, act of kindness and excellent customer service.

Their exceptional service made me feel genuinely valued and cared for. I’ve stayed at many high-end, 5-star brands around the world, but this hotel absolutely holds its own. In fact, it’s now on my short list of places I would go out of my way to return to. Everything from the check-in process to the little thoughtful touches throughout my stay made a lasting impression. 7 days in HCMC

La Siesta Premium Saigon Central is in District 1, near all main attractions and the metro station, next to the Binh Thanh Market. Walking distance to Quan Bui (great Vietnamese food), A Ma Kitchen (Cantonese dim sum), and many other eateries. Japanese Raman is good in HCMC but sashimi or sushi are low on quality and expensive. Saigon Special beers are cheap on the Walking Street (D20k) at the right places. Special craft beers will be much more expensive (D150k for 500ml) but nice. Great for Vietnamese food and massages. Public Bank nearby is good for money exchange. HCMC is fun, far more developed than I imagined. Good t-shirts and sport tops are D100k each. Do not pay more. Can be expensive if not careful. Always book a taxi at the airport before exiting, as taxi drivers our there are beasts. My asked for D2million, but miscalculate that to US$18. Not clever nor honest. Download Grab for transport. Have fun.
