Great location - the five stars though were awarded decades ago and the Rex is far too world weary to still be considered that. The staff are very good in a stiff, old fashioned 5 star way and the facilities are good but just like the rest of the decor could do with a makeover.

Amenities in room are terrible… nothing at all. Just one big towel and two napkin. Only toilet tissue paper. No table tissue paper box. Not worth the money I spent. Lucky I cancelled 09-13 Oct booking here
