The dangling carrot

Drainage system around the shower was absurd, with no sensible solution to the spray caused from the shower, so the bathroom floor was completely wet all the time. The toilet in the bar on the top floor was filthy. The staff were polite and helpful, but some enthusiasm/observation skills from the bar staff would have been ideal.

Great hotel with wonderful staff

Wonderful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. 5 minute walk to Ben Thanh market. Breakfast and afternoon tea was amazing. Would definitely stay again if we come back to HCM. My only complaint would be the stairs into the hotel, very steep.

Room with street view made this stay Great

Amazing street view and the roof top bar/ pool was a great way to end the day !!! Room service was good but pricey. Very convenient for hop on hop off bus to see all downtown attractions

We always stay at this hotel when we come to visit Ho Chi Minh. This would be our 3rd stay in less than a year. Each time the staff makes sure we are comfortable during our visit. The hotel is perfectly located next to Ben Thanh market and all of the surrounding eateries. Also is a nearby walk to the malls. Our view of the city has an open park down below so it is very beautiful without the confined space of surrounding buildings.

Unacceptable amount of noise

The amount of noise coming from the construction site next door is enough to shake the room. They work from 8:00 until around 17:00. During the last night of our stay they were laying concrete at night time. We could hear them working at 23:00. Even from the bathroom. Unfortunately this is out of the hotels control since it is on the property next door, but they should not be charging such high prices and just expect their guest to deal with the noise.

I stayed in suite 1001and the only issue I had was the tub and shower water was luke warm to cold all three days. Aside from that I would rate 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s. I prefer a hot shower no matter the temperature outside. Bed was super comfortable and room is very spacious. Pool was closed two of the evenings during my stay for private parties which was initially a bummer but once we saw the size we weren’t missing out on anything. Roof top pool is super small and should be considered a kitty pool. I would definitely stay again in the same room now that I know what to expect.
