Overall this is an excellent place to stay. It's in the exciting precinct near Franklin Wharf, Constitution Dock and Salamanka Markets. Breakfast was included.

Fantastic location and excellent service. Staff were very considerate and accommodating from breakfast in the morning and to late nightcaps in the evening. All the great facilities and must visit spots are a short stroll from your doorstep. Rooms were of good size and well appointed. Very nice restaurant downstairs with wonderful views of Constitution Dock across the road. Complimentary breakfast was perfect and came out quickly with no little or no waiting. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent position on the waterfront. We were directly above the outdoor seating for the pub but noise levels weren’t an issue. Parked rental car on Davey St in front of St David’s park which is only a diagonal block away. Excellent breakfast included with proper coffee. All staff that we met were also very friendly.

We have stayed a few times at Custom House over the last 3 years. We love its convenient location, ease of stepping out the door and walk ability to everything. We especially liked the breakfast included in our accommodation package. Very prompt courteous service too.

We were surprised with how inexpensive this hotel was! Right on the waterfront, close to local restaurants, and very walkable to all’s of Hobart’s highlights. The included breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I would stay here again
