The DoubleTree by Hilton, Hobart is well located, extremely comfortable and well-appointed and provided my family with an excellent stay at the end of our trip around Tasmania. All aspects of the stay were "top drawer" experiences - especially the excellent buffet breakfast!

I can’t sleep with their pillows at all. Way too thick and hard even for a man. Otherwise, it is in good location. Walkable distance to the pier and many restaurants. Staff are friendly. Room is clean. However, they don’t replace/ refill enough towels and water everyday.

Great location when visit Hobart

Cleaness in bathroom can be better, rubbish bins in the room can be bigger, otherwise very friendly services and within walking distance to most tourist hot spots, such as Salamanca Market and Wharf/Docks districts! Highly Recommended when visit Hobart!

The staff were very friendly and eager to help in many ways. The hotel towels at the pool ran out (acknowledging it was a busy period with guests) & the hotel room fridge could be a tad larger, other than that, we had a great stay

Rooms weren't cleaned a couple of days towels weren't replenished on a couple of other days.Milk was also not replenished had to ask for it.One coffee machine for breakfast the line went on for ever.The rooms when being cleaned when they were the staff absolutely stunk of BO all up the hall way .We got married in 2018 and this was supposed to be our anniversary throughly disappointed

Dirty Spoons But Lovely Rooms

Very nice stay. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We received warmed walnut chocolate chip cookies on arrival which were delicious and very welcome. We received texts asking about our stay. We requested another set of towels as we hadn’t received enough for the number of guests we had. The text was almost immediately answered and towels were brought up later that day. We happened to be in our room during a cleaning service and noticed a staff member cleaning our used spoons with their finger under the bathroom sink and it was then put back in our room. The spoons were replaced the next day. The pillows weren’t overly comfortable as they were to big and firm. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful when checking out. I would stay here again.
