We enjoyed the pool and sauna. The breakfast was delicious and the juices was very refreshing. The staff was very polite and friendly making it easy to talk them when we had a confusion. The hotel was very clean, the bathroom was also very nice and the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Overall love the hotel and would definitely love to come again.

The hotel is gorgeous and has a beautiful welcome with the warm cookies. Unfortunately when booking the hotel the wotif extras includes early check in and late check out, however when I contacted the hotel direct, this actually isn’t available to pre book. You also can’t pre book with the hotel car parking. It’s limited and even if you know you have a car, the hotel won’t book a spot. At check in I requested late check out which was 1pm and I was advised I could have. However prior to that time our room cards were cancelled causing my daughter to be unable to get back to the room from the pool area. She was actually stranded in the foyer of the pool as the pool lift doesn’t go to the ground floor, she couldn’t go up to our floor and couldn’t get back into the pool area to see if there was an internal phone there. This could’ve been avoided if the hotel staff had spoken to me prior to canceling our room cards. This wasn’t a great way to end our stay. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was good, with plenty of options, however the coffee offer was inadequate for the size of the restaurant. There is only one machine which kept breaking down causing long waits, there was a sign offering a filter coffee option but not filter coffee was there. I would suggest that there should be at least two coffee machines to increase flow. Overall the room was super comfortable and the bathrooms amenities smell divine.

Very good, but missing in a few areas

Very good hotel, but just missing in areas. The driveway in and out of the underground car park is just insane. Way too tight. We had a Tesla so had heaps of sensors, which is great, but would have hated it in a regular vehicle. Car park is expensive at $35 a night. Breakfast they need more staff, from clearing, to serving, to replenishing food when it’s out. Coffee machine is a minimum 5min wait when busy. Could do with 2x in peak busy times. That said, would definitely consider it on a return trip. Hotel staff are helpful, the rooms are modern and clean and the lobby looks amazing.

I think I had too high an expectation for a Hilton hotel. The room is a little small for a family with 2 kids (8 and 12). Breakfast options are not as great as other Hilton hotel such as Hilton Sydney. Swimming pool and Sauna room are nice amenities for the family. Location is good for hobart city walks. Hotel parking comes with a fee. Weekend parking is mostly free around the neighbourhood. You do need to check the parking signs though.
