Enjoyed the character of the building. Staff were wonderful and helpful. Car park is away, but got use to it, and great price per night. The staff made New Years Eve special, aways cheerful.

Historical gem
Lovely hotel. Loved the pianist on Saturday night. Not so fond of the barman who called last orders at 8.30 on Monday despite the notice saying that the bar was open every night until 9pm. Everyone else was lovely.

Although we paid for breakfasts in our booking, the waitress insisted charging extra for small amount of bacon if I only wanted a poached egg with it instead of the full plate. No bar or restaurant on Sunday evening. Lovely otherwise.

Historical elegance
A real genteel old fashioned hotel with old fashioned service. We were greeted by Anthony for our very delayed check in after 11am with a smile and friendly assistance with parking (a very reasonable $5 per night at a public parking multi story nearby). Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable with all amenities you could need. It certainly was a change from the motels we've so far been using on our trip and we were very happy.

everything about this delightful hotel. 10 out of 10. The very friendly helpful staff, great character of the hotel with it's unique style, fabulous food and the shower was like having a shower under a hot waterfall ☺️ so enjoyable. Thankyou to the Hadley hotel in Hobart, couldn't find a fault.
