Great rooms, beautiful location. However, we found the bathroom smelling of cigarette and we did mention it to the management that the cleaning staff should have taken notice. We wanted an iron/ironing board and we were surprised to learn that they do not have any. It is a good place to spend the night but we expect a bit better service for the money that was charged. Given the service, I would say its overpriced

Property was clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet. Great hotel restaurant. Your room assignment could make or break your experience here. Unless you are willing to upgrade your room, expect to stay in a room in the basement with very little space and a tiny shower. 15 min drive to Hofn.

More consideration on architectual style than function. Very nice hotel but lacking in consideration for how guests function. Tiny bathroom - almost hit tiny sink Separate shower facing bed with glass door - no private dressing area. Did have a fridge that was old and rattled Had a nice deck but was shared with room next door that you could see into Breakfast very limited Room was small with minimal room for luggage. Room darkening curtains were very ineffective.
