Nice hotel however not much happening in and around the vicinity at lotte. Many shops abandoned and closed. Staff were friendly

The resort has the potential to be great, but it is huge and has hardly any guests in it - and the vast majority of the retail spaces are empty. This means it really lacks atmosphere. The staff are lovely and accommodation is clean and neat. The spa is great and provides great valu for money.

We booked a deluxe room but had a poor view ,we asked for an upgrade and were shown two rooms at no extra charge. We chose a premier ocean view room. Only good thing about this room was the view all amenities were better in deluxe room . PRO’S and CON’S Best thing about this place is the staff , everything was done with smiles and really looked after us ,they could not do enough for us when my wife’s suit case arrived damaged. Premiere ocean view room. Only good thing is the view. Tiny fridge no ice maker and didn’t get cold even though changed out 3 times but deluxe room had full size fridge freezer. Outdoor lounge supplied in living room very uncomfortable better for a real couch as per deluxe room No rain shower as per deluxe room just hand held not a lot of pressure and dies off after a few minutes Pool area . Pool lounges have no Foam Matt’s very hard on back and butt Asked them why not supply them and have no answer Pool towels are small ,old and very thin wornout ,need 2 each time . Pool bar is great not a swim up but has food and drinks made and cocktails are nice Only beer is available for 2 for one happy hour . Beach Beach was filthy with tons of sticks ,plastic and foam washed up all over it No beach area set up at all by the hotel to relax on like other hotels have Shops. Shops are mostly all closed which is a shame there were so many places in the resort to shop before Covid hit but still a couple of small marts and a couple restaurants only.one restaurant

I really liked this property. I know there are lots of bad reviews on here but I don’t think it’s as bad as people are saying. Yes it has a lot of empty spaces but I already expected it by reading everyone’s reviews. The room we had was a sea view and it was nice and clean. The washrooms were nice and not smelly at all. I LOVED their Korean Sauna spa and they have a huge gym. Our room was very clean and most of the staff was really nice. We ate at the Korean restaurant 2 nights and both times were really good. The owner/staff was very friendly as well. The front desk team made it special for my mom’s bday and surprised her with cake. (Shout out to tram and nga and everyone else there) The spa staff was always very helpful and kind. (I don’t know their names but they were honestly the sweetest) The housekeeping staff was always cheerful and sweet. The only thing I could think of is they need to train up their breakfast staff as they are often standing around talking, not friendly and not doing their jobs. Also yes they don’t allow food but that’s only heavy smelling food. If you bring most foods it’s fine just not the super smelly stuff. We ended up extending our stay for 1 extra night. I would still recommend this place and also would come back.

I enjoyed a three night stay at Citadines Pearl Hotel. I chose it for the beach location and enjoyed my room with an ocean view. My room was clean, spacious and as described on the web site. I enjoyed the combination wood bathtub / shower in my bathtub. The breakfast buffet had a large selection, I think the pastries could have been a bit fresher or higher quality. I also noted trash at the hotel’s section of the beach. A great aspect of my stay was that the staff at the hotel were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable and very eager to help me and ensure that I had a great stay. They provided suggestions for visiting and shopping in Hoi An and coordinated spa services for me.

The property is kind of off the beaten path from anything but it was a large complex and very self contained if you weren’t into exploring the actual city. There were a ton of amenities and this appeared to be a terrific hotel if you were traveling with children. It was not the vibe my trip was going for but it would be great for a family with young kids. The room was large and had a nice useable balcony. Very quiet facility and the breakfast was very diverse in its options and tasty. The beach area looked to not be super swimming friendly but we did visit while it was stormy out so that may have been why. Good price and the beds were comfy. Also the gym was incredibly well equipped. Good stay if you’re looking for a more all inclusive type feel with lots of options on site for things to do.

Nice stay but like ghost town
This is a massive resort and sadly was like a ghost town while we were there. The spa facility is amazing and reasonably priced. The pool is also large and nice to be around. However there was not many people staying for such a large resort, you can tell they are struggling to maintain the grounds. We ate dinner at the restaurant once and the only ones there. Reception staff were friendly but other staff not so much. Easy to get to Ancient Hoi An town. Door out to balcony could not be opened although I never asked either. They only issue one key, which was inconvenient. Buffet breakfast was ok.

Context of our review, we are full-time travellers, with 4 children under 6 years that stay in low budget hotels, Airbnb’s, all the way to 5 star. Let’s start with saying, that this hotel experience to be honest was just weird and eerie. Absolutely massive resort complex with retailers however all vacant and closed giving it an eerie feel. The resort is right on the beach, which is amazing to be able to walk to straight from your room. The beach was nice and calm for swimming with kids and great for long walks into the sunset The pool we always love a good pool was absolutely enormous, the downside. It always looked very cloudy and extremely hot so in 33° hot weather jumping into the pool felt like going from hot to hotter like a spa. The resort would not allow food from outside, however hotel food was not great so that made it challenging for our family. The breakfast is huge, but just horrible quality, the staff in the breakfast are also very cold feeling. There’s no warmth in engagement with them. There’s a kids club, which wasn’t bad. There’s an outdoor play equipment also not bad. Rooms have been recently renovated. We had glue seeping up from the wooden floors throughout our whole apartment onto our feet for the whole week which you can imagine we were sleeping with. Housekeeping stuff on the other hand were, Ahn - she was fantastic. Not sure we could recommend this hotel as there are too many other competitive hotels around
