There was hair on the towels. The evening staff was fine. The morning staff was rude. When walking out the car I stepped off the step and into a hole and fell and twisted my ankle. All they had to offer was hydrogen peroxide and cotton balls. They gave us the email for the manager but haven’t heard back from her. The breakfast was awful.

The rooms are excellent. For low-budget motels this one should be considered the next level up. But Arizona is notorious for not noticing the red dust accumulation everywhere. And this town, Holbrook is a dust bowl. Homeless people are everywhere. The town is a dump. For a tourist town you would expect better. This hotel is built next to a 4-lane highway with lots of trucks. But if it was elsewhere it would be almost perfect. Housekeeping deserves a shout out! Even the corners are clean.

This was a quick stop on a month of traveling; it was easily located and had dining options near. The staff were very pleasant and gave good ideas for dinner. The only issue we had were the young people we had staying above us. They hung out on the steps drinking and smoking. Our dog went crazy. The worst was when they came home from the bars at 1:45 and were up and down, slamming doors etc. Not the hotels fault - I did mention it on checkout and suggested they move them to an area not by other travelers.

It was close to the Petrified forest national park. There are several restaurants close by and the local laundromat was a short drive down the street. The motel advertised that it had laundry facilities onsite for guests. The washing machine was broken during our stay, so it was unavailable. The motel staff did provide us with recommendations on local restaurants

Green Tree hotel Holbrook

Clean room, but in the morning upon showering we discovered that the body wash was empty- too late to correct it, I washed with the shampoo. The breakfast is minimal. However the price of the stay compensates for the limited food. That is, restaurants are handy. The bed was comfortable. Road noice was acceptable.
