Easy walk to downtown shopping and dining. The hotel is beautiful and has a walking museum and gardens. The only downside was the whirlpool tub in our room broke so they switched us to a different room and on the last day that tub broke also. We enjoyed staying here and would stay again.

La Posada is a SW historical delight. It is a place to stop along your West Coast to East travel, or vice versa. We stayed, relaxed before continuing on our travels. The big surprise was the Turquoise Room-Delicious Bon Appetite breakfast, lunch, dinner options. Our only suggestion would to have the 2-4, extended to 5 for more flexibility for arrivals, or include lite fare on dinner menu. Staff welcoming. A gem along Rte.40.

This is a wonderful example of what can be done with restoration of a famous landmark property. Understanding that things such as bathrooms are just not economically practical to modernize in this old of a property, our bathroom, while adequate, was in need of updating.

Marvelous architecture! It was a delight to wander around the public areas of the Hotel. Dinner and breakfast were very good. My vintage room had a nicely remodeled shower, which resulted in the elimination of the closet, but that was not a problem for me.

Very special hotel

The La Posada is a very special hotel. We love all the history and stories associated with its past. Amenities are up to date. Turquoise Room served excellent meals. We’ll come back again!

The historic significance and amazing job of preserving the hotel was impressive. The food at the Turquoise Room Restaurant was world class. Our waitress was exceptional.
