Facility was clean and new. However, the walls are so thin. You can hear everything from the rooms next you and above you. I could hear people’s conversations, foot steps, toilet flushing, and everything. My family is not so sensitive and tired so it was not a big issue. However if you are traveling with infants or if you are sensitive with sounds, it might be a difficult stay.

AVOID! There’s a big Samsung TV, but it’s a huge taunt. It’s permanently set to Motion Smoothing, so all TV Shows & Movies look fake, like bad soap opera video from the 80s. And you can’t even use the remote to access the settings NOR does anyone at the Avid Hotel NOR at IGH even know how to change it either. The goofballs who set up all the TVs up like this obviously don’t watch movies or TV. Enjoy watching your phone. Then there’s no microwaves in any of the rooms either. Enjoy your cold food. Then there’s no carpets in any of the rooms either. So anytime someone opens a door in the hallway, it’s amplified loudly into your room. Enjoy your sleepless night. For the price they charge, there is no value Enjoy finding another (competent) hotel. That’s what I did, because I certainly wasn’t going to stay another night there. So disappointing. ^This is from my Google Review

Wonderful hotel! The rooms were immaculate as well as the whole property itself. Lovely staff, too. And the grab and go breakfast was perfect! Nice selection to choose from. Definitely plan on staying there again next time I am visiting Holland. Thank you!

The hotel was kind of in a remote area not very close to anything. Pros: property was clean. Cons: there was no housekeeping service during our stay. Even though we asked housekeeping to clean our room. We didn’t even receive clean towels. We had to go down to the front desk to get towels multiple times. Also the breakfast included was not much of a breakfast. I expected better service from a hotel that was close to $600 for a two night stay and we were very disappointed.

Great Comfortable Stay

Awesome room, clean, comfortable bed, nice big TV with on screen program guide, great shower, soaps, lotion, shampoo/conditioner in pump for no waste, nice selection for breakfast. Check in staff asked if I had a floor preference. The only issue I had was the bathroom light would auto turn on when you walked in & it blinds you if you're not ready for it at night.

My family really enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and everything felt really new! The location is near some type of plant, so if the wind is blowing the wrong way and you’re outside you may get an unpleasant smell, but I never noticed it while inside so it was barely noticeable and not really an inconvenience, just something to note if you’re very sensitive to smells.
