The bedding had holes in it like a mouse had chewed several parts. The shower Temperature handle fell off in my hand and was unable to regulate water. Had to pull the knob off and shove it back on several times to get it to work. The manager agreed that the bedding should have never made it to a room. She apologized and asked if there was anything she could do At checkout. She said she was not able to give me a discount on the room rate because I booked through Expedia.

Good location otherwise just ok
The reason to stay here is for the location. It is within walking distance to all the shops and markets downtown. As a hotel however, it's just ok. You don't get a microwave, there's no pool, and you can only heat the room to 73 (it says 75, but only would let you go to 73). The pillows flattened down to nothing and the blanket/sheet combo just kept getting tangled up. The worst part was the sliding bathroom door that was so loud and squeaky that it wakes you up. You could also hear other people's bathroom doors and their walking around. This wouldn't be my first choice of hotel, but again it is in a good location.

Nice hotel rooms but they are the same as they were when it was city flats hotel. I feel there should be some updates in the rooms. The lobby and bar area were nicely decorated.

Seemed very short-staffed. Waited almost 15 minutes for someone to show up at the lobby coffee bar. Another guest and I walked all over the first floor area at 6:45 and didn’t find anyone. Also Saturday evening bartenders at the lobby bar were very slow and appeared to be very inexperienced.

Great location. Very friendly. The room was a little noisy due to the air conditioning going on and off at night. The beds are a little soft. No carpeting on the floor. Unable to raise the temperature on the thermostat. Web excess is great. TV has lots of choices. Good breakfast.

Everything about this stay was amazing: the location, the cleanliness, the modern room. But what I loved the most was the kindness and effort of the staff to make our time here special. They really went out of their way to make it memorable, and at a time when it’s difficult to find good service, it was a breath of fresh air.

Presidential Suite not worth the $$$
We booked the presidential suite for our wedding stay. From the pictures online in looked roomy for getting ready and had a balcony which we thought was potentially nice for pictures. Upon our arrival we were floored with how poor of condition the room was in. Scuffs on every wall, holes in the bathroom walls, every single baseboard looked like carpet had just been ripped up, etc. To top it off, it was less cozy than any motel room I have ever been in. The flooring feels like an outdoor rug and there was tile in the bedroom which did not make it enjoyable to take your shoes off. There was certainly space in the room but otherwise not much to make it worth spending the extra upgrade money. That being said I do give the staff credit because they heard our concerns. We were told they were aware of some of the complaints from previous customers and worked with us. All in all I do not think I would stay here again just because it was such a disappointment for a wedding stay we had looked forward to.
This was our view, with active construction.
