We have stayed here in the past and really enjoyed the location and hotel. Walking distance to the movie theatre, a few shops and Dutch Village. However, the hotel is in need of some updates. The carpet was disgusting with stains everywhere. The tub in our room had mold and was stained. There were also various stains on the ceiling and walls throughout the entire room. Unless they do some upgrades, we won't be back.

The room was excellent. The motels location was average, but within walking distance of a couple fast food joints. I rated the staff poor as on 2 occasions I was given false information. When I contacted the motel a week prior to my stay, I was told they had a free shuttle service to/from the airport. When I called the following week to make my reservation for the shuttle I was told there was no transportation. When I asked how I would get there from the airport, I was told Uber was not readily available in Holland, but I could take a taxi at a cost of $38-$60. Again an untruth...the taxi cost of $125 plus tip.

Property not maintained, multiple issues, including shower curtain rod coming off wall, sink draining very slow, light bulb burned out, etc. Changed rooms after first night but again light bulb burned out, microwave not working, door trim coming off. Location is less than desirable. Will not stay at Country Inn in the future

Shortly after we checked in we found the toilet to continue to run. I went to the front desk around 4:30 to let them know. No one was at the desk. I went back to my room to get ready for dinner. On the way out we stopped at the desk again. Still no one was there. A family was waiting to check in. They said they had been waiting about 30 minutes and called the number on the sign at the desk and getting no answer. We left for dinner and returned about 7:30 or so. Still no one at the desk. Our toilet ran all night then we couldn’t flush it. I went to the desk in the morning and talked to the night shift guy. He said he would report it and ask me why I didn’t call at 11:00 pm because he was there. He was going off duty so after breakfast I talked to the morning person and ask her if he reported the toilet and the fact no one was at the desk to check in the family or take care of my issue. She just heard about the toilet from him. I would think you would have cameras to verify this. This was unacceptable.
