There was a sewer smell in the first room coming from the bathroom. At 3 AM I switched rooms, and woke up at 9:08 AM to a message that hotel-wide hot water was shut off for the whole day for emergency repairs. They could not discount my hotel price due to my purchase being through Expedia.

Great stay. Loved the layout of this hotel, lots of character. Updated and super clean. The pool/hot tub area was awesome. Great size, temp and vibe. We came to get out of town for a night and to swim! This place was perfect for that. Lots of cool travel points from the location. Easy to get to. Breakfast was awesome too! Lots of warm breakfast choices as well as to go. Would definitely return.

Above the jacuzzi tub the celing had what was wet spots and the mudd and tape was falling down. There was fake rose pedals in the jacuzzi tub stuck in the drain. Was the room really cleaned?

Our room was on the second floor and the hallway was very darkly lit. Just felt odd. Our keys stopped working on the second day. We had three rooms in our party, separate reservations, and all keys didn’t work. Front desk was able to get us new keys. The first night, December 30, the pool area was empty but we still had to go to the front desk for towels. We were told they’d put more out but they did not while we were there. Breakfast had a hard time keeping up on Jan 1. Pancake machine had issues and people were waiting for eggs for 10+ minutes. We were notified of a water shut off 11-3 on Dec 31. The note was under our door when we woke up. Given only two hours notice was just a bit odd. An indication of what would be affected as well as offering water bottles would have been nice. Overall a fine stay.
