First time staying at this property. The room was impeccably clean. The staff were amazing. We arrived early. Our room wasn't ready yet because we arrived early and we still were able to get our key in our parking pass so that when we returned, we could take care of all of that right away. The bed was comfortable water pressure was fantastic in the shower. They do have breakfast, which was good. Thank you for a great night's day. Love the Saugatuck area. Can't go wrong.

The Maplewood Hotel is a quaint bed and breakfast! The staff is amazing! A delicious breakfast is special every day and is included with your stay! The location is perfect. I was highly disappointed. I've stayed at several historical/old hotels and this stay was the most disappointing for the expensive price I payed. The bath mat in my room was torn/dirty. No conditioner was provided, only body wash/shampoo/lotion, the bathroom grout and vents were really dirty, the coffee was a generic brand, these are very little things that shouldn't happen for the price I was charged. I will say the STAFF carries this place = the night lady and breakfast crew were amazing and accommodating.

Loved the location and proximity to shopping. The room was comfy but the carpet is pretty badly stained and needs replacement. Had a lovely breakfast on the porch overlooking the park. We never checked out the pool.
