It was clean, but run down and the loud at night

The blackout curtains were ripped, so the room never got dark during the day or in the morning. I've never stayed at a hotel that had this happen before, it is a very cheap thing that should be fixed before the next person stays here. Around midnight a truck backed up right in front of our room, and we started smelling diesel fumes after the truck ideles for close to 30 minutes, keeping us awake. I've also never seen such blatant disregard for other people's sleep.

Clean, serviceable room at a very decent price! We had an issue with our AC due to a storm. We were immediately given a new room across the hall.

The room appeared clean, however I found multiple bugs in the sheets! The check-in personnel did not know what they were really doing. Check-in process was rough. He didn’t know how to read a driver’s license and did not speak English very well at all. He was also confused and wanted to know why I wanted a different room after finding bugs in the beds.

My husband and I were Choice Hotel members many years ago until the condition of their hotels began to go downhill. Quality Inns were one of the worst as far as poor conditions go. However, since I was struggling to find an affordable room in Holland, MI, and since there were many very positive reviews of this hotel, I decided to take a chance. Sadly, I regretted it the minute we walked in our room. Every wall was in desperate need of being painted. in the room and the bathroom. The walls were dirty and marred. There was even a big glob of toothpaste on the all next to the sink. They had patched a large area above the shower but never bothered to paint over it. The bathroom door had been scratched all up and down it and was also dirty. The sheers on the window had mildew all along the bottom hem. The room smelled musty and sour, I'm assuming from the air conditioner. The beds were clean and comfortable but, other than that, I have nothing good to say about our room. I don't know where the people stayed that left the positive reviews, but it couldn't possibly have been THIS hotel!

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean. We were in town for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep and gar ready. Perfect! Price was good. I do not like to pay for expensive hotels when you are in the room for less than 11-12 hours.i would stay again.

The front desk person is lovely. The room smelled musty and like cigarettes. The room carpet and linen were damp to the touch. The space was dark and walls marked, scratched and painted poorly. The price is elevated compared to other hotels in the area that are brand new, we choose your hotel because in the name it states quality however there is nothing about this room that is quality.

I went to take a shower in the morning and there was no water! I asked at the front desk and was told the water would be back on in an "hour or so". I had to go to my appointment unshowered. The front desk offered no solution or refund.

We were sent to three rooms. The first already had someone staying there, that was uncomfortable… The second looked like someone took paint thinner to the bath tub and the ac unit was pouring out water onto the carpet. The third room had stains everywhere but we were tired of moving. The staff, while nice, clearly didn’t know what was going on. I would absolutely not recommend this place. For the price we paid it was unbelievable how awful it was.
