This was our 7th visit to The Old Bridge in Holmfirth. The staff are exceptional, all of them are extremely helpful, polite and professional, thank you all of you. Lovely breakfast as always. We will be rebooking for our annual January visit in 2026. We will always recommend you to anyone wishing to visit Holmfirth!!! 🙏🙏

Overnight stay
Stayed overnight on NYD. Ellie on check in was nice and friendly parking permit was given and check Inn was allowed at 130pm which was great as it was raining all day. Room was ok basic but clean nice comfy bed. We ate in the restaurant and it was ok nothing special. Breakfast was lovely friendly staff choice was plentiful just no poached eggs or fried due to kitchen issues.

Amazing place to stay. My friend is a Coeliac and they were so accommodating over food choices even making her a GF veloute sauce especially. And toast for breakfast. The only downside was the aperture to get in the corner shower was incredibly small and I am not a large person. Any average sized man would have great difficulty getting in it. Bed was very comfy though.

Outstanding
the staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was very big with a modern bathroom. For breakfast there was a massive choice, parking at the hotel. Location is great being in the middle of town and the hotel is really well done out. Haven’t stayed before but I am going to go back in the New Year with the family.

Bar and restaurant area are lovely. Service good and online check in very easy. Great location in centre of town and next door to the Picturesrome. Noisy outside on a weekend until very late. Upstairs though, the rooms are cramped and in need of an update. Windows needs updating to keep out the sound better. Bed was comfortable though.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Holmfirth - all the staff are wonderful and take care of you as soon as you walk through the door. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed both meals - again staff and service superb! The only negative was that our room was at the back of the property and the bars in the lane were rowdy until 1.30 am - so request a room at the front of the hotel to avoid this. Would definitely recommend and stay again without hesitation.
