We had a great suite next to the pool, so easy access to sun loungers. Breakfast was vast with lots of variety. This is our 5th stay at this hotel, we really like it and the pool is a must in hot weather.

Beautiful property within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Room was in the loft so not much headroom. Awkward getting in bath due to low ceiling. Excellent staff and great breakfast

A gem that I hope to visit again....

Perfect location to the wonderful town of Hon Fleur. The property was gorgeous. There are 4-5 buildings on the estate where we had a spacious room with comfortable king bed on the second floor building next to pool . Host was gracious and seemed to be everywhere with everyone making them happy. Breakfast was bountiful with fresh fruits, hot croissants & bread, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt.

Lovely hotel, full of character. Excellent safe parking and very convenient for Honfleur. Loved the outdoor pool. Check in and check out times were great compared to other hotels so we had plenty of time to explore the town and enjoy the pool on our overnight stay. Highly recommended this hotel.

A lovely, quiet place to stay, only a ten minute walk from the waterfront and only a 30 minute drive from Le Havre. Very well appointed suite, complete with kitchen although that could have done with a few more utensils if you wanted to do a bit of self catering. The pool was great and not too busy but could do with some more sun umbrellas as the sun was pretty fierce when we were there. Will definitely go again,

Charming older building with thoroughly updated bath full of period decorations. A great deal for the price with walking distance of city center. Don't miss walking up the hill behind the hotel. Great views, Has pool and spa too.

For the price, this is the best hotel I've stayed in. Fabulous room, beautifully furnished and maintained. Everything top quality and spotlessly clean. Staff were wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough and so close to centre of Honfleur. Too marks.

We had a great experience at Hotel L’Ecrin. The service was exceptional and the room was excellent. Everyone who worked at the hotel was extremely kind and helpful. Parking was easy which is always a bonus in small French towns. The location could not have been better. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

The hotel is located close to the center of town, making it very easy to walk around as the town is relatively small. Car parking is convenient and free. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat here. The room was not great; it had a chemical odor that persisted over the two days, and we could not figure out what was causing it. For a premium room, it felt very tired and worn. There was just a shower hose in the bath, nothing else—no curtain. The shower had minimal pressure, which made it difficult to use without soaking the floor. The bath was very slippery, and to be honest, it just needs to be fully replaced. The toilet is oddly placed on additional tiled stairs that are not easy to navigate and are dangerous to use at night. We didn't use the rest of the hotel, but we inquired about accessing the steam room and jacuzzi and were informed it cost an additional 100 Euros for one hour's use! I was absolutely flabbergasted. I've stayed in top hotels around the world and have never heard of a surcharge so outrageously high just for the use of the sauna and steam room. Suffice to say I declined. The decor in the main hotel may have a certain allure to those who feel it represents a step back in time, but that is all it has. You can step back in time and still provide a luxurious experience, and this is not one of them." The hotel refused to liase with expedia to cancel the additinal day leaving us no options.

We had a beautiful room with a Terrace. There was no elevator but we knew that when we booked. The staff serving breakfast were delightful. The room was comfy and clean.

We love this hotel in the centre of beautiful Honfleur. It's very easy going and friendly. Thej decor is very individual .Unfortunately for us, the weather was not kind so not able to use the beautiful swimming pool. Very good value.
