This is the fifth time I stayed in this hotel. This time I chose breakfast package and I made the right choice. The whole crew of staff in the restaurant provide a professional and polite service to me and my wife 以禮待人. They set the model for service industry in Hong Kong. The whole team communicated each other effectively. We really enjoyed our stay . We definitely recommend this hotel and will return to the hotel. Thanks

Would consider Dorsett for my next visit to HK

Overall happy with Dorsett Wanchai. The breakfast is simple yet nice. Dorsett provide shuttle bus service to nearby MRT station which is very thoughtful.

Great Stay at Dorsett!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The fitness center was well-equipped which I thoroughly enjoyed. I’m also glad there was the added bonus of free laundry for gym-goers. The only tough part was the wait time for the elevator during the busy breakfast time. Other than that, I found everything else about Dorsett very easy to navigate. A very convenient bus stop right outside as well as access to other transportation. The shuttle was very helpful as well. My dad isn’t very mobile so I’m glad I got to borrow a wheelchair from the hotel as well. Great stay!

This hotel is very busy and is located on a busy road. Depending on which side of the hotel you're on, you'll be hearing 24/7 traffic noise or your view will be of a cemetery. We found there weren't a lot of restaurants or other amenities within walking distance of the hotel either. We booked a room for 3 people but was only given a choice of a room with two twin beds or a room with a queen. We paid the extra for the extra person but did not get a proper room. The room with twin beds is quite small, whereas the room with the queen bed is very spacious. The room itself is great - clean and good A/C. On the other hand, the hallways look old, dank, and in some hallways they look very run down and dirty. I would definitely choose a different property to stay at the next time I'm in Hong Kong.

We were disappointed that there was no pool in the hotel as advertised. Room was dated & could have been cleaner. Location was ok but required at least a 15 minute walk to other restaurants, coffee shops, & shopping.

Had a bad experience here. Carpets dirty, lifts weren’t working, noisy due to room being on busy road and vibrations. Just a bad location in general. Didn’t bother changing rooms, we moved to another hotel the next day. First time I’ve ever had to do this.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were inquiring about a restaurant that was recommended to us and they saved us an uber trip to a restaurant that was permanently closed. THANK YOU! I loved the free bus shuttles from the hotel to Causeway. Super convenient!! I would definitely come back!

I stay at Dorsett in Singapore and it’s a great hotel. This Wan Chai location, which is really in Causeway Bay, is not up to standards. My room was in need of renovations, it was dirty, small, some lights did not work. The staff was mostly unhelpful, not happy to help. But the worse part was the noise. Every few minutes I could hear large bangs, some were so loud, they made me jump. I had to sleep with earplugs.

On Check in we were advised that they only had rooms with single beds as they were fully booked,even though we had booked months before and the deal was a superior room wit a view. One room had a view and the other opaque glass. After complaining they offered and supplied us the following day with premium rooms overlooking the race course. Overall the rooms were clean but fairly dated.

The included breakfast was excellent, but it does get busy by 9 so we had to wait sometimes, or share a larger table. We made use of the free shuttle a couple of times, but it was also a very close walk to Times Square if you know about the "subway" underpass to get by the large roads bordering the hotel. We thought our adjoining room was very comfortable. The mattresses were on the harder side but we still got restful sleep.

The location is very inconvenient. The hotel is in the middle of 3 streets with very heavy traffic making it imposible to walk around the area. There are no restaurants or places to go around or that you can walk to. The shuttle service is excellent. Breakfast is OK, though far from being great but it serves its purpose. The staff is courteous and willing to serve. The hotel is outdated, specially the horrible dirty carpet in all the breakfast lounge.
