I’m giving this hotel a low rating because, due to circumstances beyond my control, my flight was canceled that day. Even though I notified them two days in advance, they told me their policy no longer applied and still made me lose my money. What’s more frustrating is that I ended up staying an extra night at the same hotel, which I had to pay for separately—and at a much higher rate. On top of that, the food was expensive, poor quality, and took way too long to be delivered to my room. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and taste. I understand that policies exist, but I believe hotels should show more understanding in situations like this, especially when the guest had no control over the situation and gave advance notice. A little more empathy and flexibility would go a long way

Loved the place, very attentive service from beginning and check in/out was easy, and room was nice and spacious, and all the facilities are new and modern, and I love the location, we are not familiar with HK but it was not difficult for me to get to work, and plenty of great food places nearby, next time in HK I want to be with Hopewell again.

Perfect hotel for our family

We loved staying here. The location was perfect. It's at wanchai and it's on the higher part of HK. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and a very nice Hong Kong market. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big for Hong Kong. It's near a hiking trail too.

Ideally situated for mtr, clean, modern efficiently run hotel. Lots of shops in mall below, including a supermarket and restaurants. If you are visiting or are with young children with a whole floor in the mall for them. Excellent concierge service when you leave, where they keep your luggage safely and can get a taxi in four mins.
