Mahalo! This is Ms Helene Tonique L Miller and I'm happy to say I enjoyed myself at the Twin Fin Hotel at Kalakua Honolulu Hawaii Waikiki off the beach. I went there for Memorials Day and to pay respect to my late great grandfather Dori Miller of WW2 Pearl Harbor. I took a toor of the USS Arizona at the Pearl Harbor Memorial on May 26th, 2025. It was a emotional but great experience for me. Ahoy!

Got a good deal and stayed over memorial day. paid extra for partial ocean view and got exactly that. room was small and balcony only had standing room. rooms are nothing fancy. restaurant was decent and had good drinks. booking comes with free rentals for beach supplies like chairs and things. overall is a decent hotel in the middle of waikiki for a decent price

The staff was amazing. The negative thing was the room I was in had some issues. One side of my room had no electricity but the staff fixed it right away. The toilet would not properly flush and we had a hard time opening and closing the sliding door to the balcony.

It was a wonderful stay! Beautiful room and location. Beach is right across the street and it’s an easy walk to tons of shopping and amazing restaurants. Please be aware of the $54 per day resort fee and $54 per day parking fee if you’ll have a vehicle.

There is a sewage smell that greets you in the arrival lobby area. Check-in clerk was robot-like reading a script. I found out AFTER the stay there was a free lei-making class and a restaurant on the rooftop. TV choices are terrible….when you did find something to watch the digital breakup made it impossible. The side street next to the hotel has a trolley stop that rings a loud, annoying bell. Be sure your ocean-view room is NOT on the side street. It needs to be on the Main Street side. The room was decent and the location of the hotel was convenient. The little store downstairs was perfect and had anything you need. Tiki’s Restaurant was the best part….ribs are excellent.

I had a beautiful room up on the 25 th floor with an ocean view.The view was breathtaking. As the hotel is located at the end of Waikiki beach the beach did not seem as crowded which I really liked. Hotel has a nice pool/ patio where I spent one afternoon You can order food/ drinks from the “ Tiki bar” the hotels restaurant. ( was touch to expensive for me) I will stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to family and friends

I loved everything but the room itself. We had an older room, so the bathroom door didn't close right, the trim on everything was broken and worn, the beds were lumpy and rough, the sliding patio door wouldn't open. It was just pretty rough shape room for the amount of money we paid to stay there. The rest of the experience was great though!

The view was amazing and the staff was very nice but they didn’t mention anything about an extra 250 being put on hold along with the hotel fees. We knew about the 318 hotel fee but when they said they needed another 250 for any damages that caught us off guard but if we didn’t have damages we would get the 250 reimbursed which we did. But it would have been nice to know there was an extra fee.

It was where the wedding party was staying and reception was so everyone booked rooms there. Our room was dated and no instructions on how AC worked so we could shut it off. Was uncomfortably cold. The view was amazing but getting sick (soar throat & cough from AC was & is not something I wanted to bring home. Wasn't pleased that my requests through expedia and directly talking to hotel were not done as they said they would be. Loved being with family from Alaska, Colorado, Nebraska and Washington state that all made it for the wedding...the venue was amazing, reception was great and spending quality time with family was priceless.
