I liked the location of the building, I was completely disappointed with our room, it had a horrible view of a construction site and right under our balcony were AC generators full of trash that flew up towards our room. We were moved to another room on the 32nd floor which was run down. Chipped paint, missing paintings on the wall the room was plain ugly, truly disappointing. My daughters begged me not to make another request to change rooms because they feared it would look worse. I was completely upset that I paid so much for our stay there.

Great location and good facilities! The only negative thing I have to say is that using the elevators can be little frustrating. You may wait for a while to get in and also it stopped in the middle of ride once during our stay, which is pretty scary, but I think this might be a common issue for all the old hotels in the area. Overall it’s a great value and recommend for all types of visitors.

There are lots of shops and travel conveniences on the property. We thought the pool was very small for such a large hotel. Also, the elevators are small, and we had to wait a long time each time we left and returned to our hotel room.

Property is clean. Well maintained. Lots of stores inside the hotel. 1 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Staff are very much welcoming and nice. Front desk Gloria was really helpful checking us in smoothly. she is very accommodating. Also, valet staff did a great job as well making sure we leave on time. No delays. Only good things about our stay. Will definitely recommend and plan to stay again here when we go back to Oahu.

This property was perfect for us! We had an oceanfront room with a partial Diamond Head view. Found a great local one cream shop called Mosa, about 1/2 mile walk. Best coconut ice cream I have ever had.
