The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. This was my second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, it will be my last. While the location is undeniably convenient, right across the street from the beach, that’s about the only redeeming quality left. From the moment we checked in, the experience was riddled with inconveniences. The front desk failed to inform us that wristbands were available instead of key cards, which made pool access unnecessarily frustrating. The room itself was a letdown: the bathtub was bumpy and unstable, water pressure was weak, and the balcony wall was literally crumbling with a loose railing, both unsafe and unsightly. To make matters worse, the WiFi didn’t work on the balcony, which was disappointing given how much I paid for the stay. Noise was a constant issue. I could hear every sound from my neighbors on both sides and even the ice machine down the hall kept me up all night. The lack of soundproofing made it hard to relax. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and unaccommodating. I had requested an accessible room due to an injury that occurred after booking, but was told none were available. I can’t help but wonder if this was because I booked through a third party (Expedia), which raises concerns about how they treat guests who don’t book directly. The pool and hot tub were full of sand from the beach, which made me question how often they’re cleaned. It felt neglected and unhygienic. For the price I paid, I expected far more in terms of comfort, quality, and service.

I was ok paying $60 a night for parking in a cramped, narrow structure across the street from the hotel but after the first night NO parking was available. The only option was waiting in a line down the block for possible valet parking to open up. The front of the hotel was so clogged with cars and so far from the second floor registration that dropping off luggage or family members was impossible. Elevators were so slow and inadequate for the number of guests that we would wait in line just to board the elevator to our room each time. Food at the hotel restaurant, Swim, was disgusting but we expected as much based on the reviews. Room was adequate but noisy from the bar across the street. I don’t recommend staying here and will reconsider patronizing Hyatt in the future.

Overall an excellent stay. Comfortable bed, good amenities, and a perfect location. Minor issue, small pool, but nothing major.
