This is my 3rd time staying at ilikai but this most recent experience I was disappointed. We stayed for 5 days and our room only got serviced ONCE. We saw the cleaners the 2nd night down the hall and specifically asked them to please service our room.. when we got back, all they did was take out the trash and replace towels. THAT WAS IT

The Ilikai Hotel is a classic at the north end of Waikiki. While built in the 60s it has been generally well maintained. It is not as flashy as newer hotels but it makes up for glitz by being comfortable with large rooms and a very, very polite and helpful staff. A short walk to the beach, the park and shopping.
