The demolition of the building next door was loud and noisy. 450 for an amenity charge for internet and pool towels that w ex didn’t use. Additional $450 for valet parking. $900 before I left the check in counter

We had a corner suite and were very pleased overall with our stay. Our room had a partial water view and city view (balconies both sides). It was clean and spacious. Staff was kind and helpful. Pool/fitness center were nice and also clean. Appliances were very dated and there were some quirks with housekeeping, but generally it was great and conveniently located. Decent value, although the separate parking and amenities fees add up (but seem common and standard for the area). Would stay here again.

We love the Luana! Wine and cheese nights with local talent and wonderful service. The beds could use an update! We’ve been going here for 10 years and I think it’s the same mattresses with painfully firm pillows. Other than that, love the water in the lobby and new hippopotamus addition!

Loved the location of this property as everything was within walkable distance. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. I appreciated how they had water available downstairs. One thing I wish I had known ahead of time was that the pool was under construction so we were unable to use it. Everything else was great!

Staff was very helpful during both check-in and check-out. The location is very walkable to nearby beaches, which was a huge plus. The only downside was that I had requested a city view, but due to ongoing construction next door, my room overlooked the construction site instead. Since I was only staying for a couple of nights, I didn’t request a room change. I’ll definitely return—hopefully the construction will be completed by then. Mahalo!

Overall most employees were great except Mike-graveyard shift was rude, impatient and condescending. Dismissive when venting regarding VIP Access. Told me to speak to a manager. He said “at the end of the day, I just work here”???? He was dismissive, and said he needed to get to work as he just started his shift? Where’s the customer service?

Beautiful hotel, amazing and welcoming staff, nice ocean view, right on the park close to the beach. Nothing to complain about for me other then under the soap holder in the shower there was a little bit of mold, which is almost inevitable with how humid it is. i would just recommend the staff look a little bit harder under things rather then just surface area. also in the pictures it showed a full fridge and freezer, there was only a mini fridge, not a big deal. Amazing for the price you pay compared to others. needless to say i will be back next year in the same hotel! There was a building getting demolished literally RIGHT next door, but that wasnt a problem for me because i do construction type work so i honestly enjoyed watching their progress, it wasnt loud either unless you had the balcony door open, those slider doors are sound proof it seems.

Upon arrival, my “cityview” was a Construction site! I called the front desk and spoke to Kim - she was amazing, we had a new room in 15 mins over looking the beautiful city! The room was spacious, had aneninites - a small kitchenette (with dishes, soap/sponge/dry rack). No microwave but does have a pizza oven. The hotel has a happy hour three days a week with free drinks and snacks. They have an onsite washer and dryer. We walked to the beach (me and my 73 yr old mom) without issue. The sushi place on site is to die for. Amazing chef and staff. The only downfall was the activities desk recommends a snorkel tour - but they didn’t provide underwater pics. Prices are reasonable and The staff and services however couldn’t be beat. Fun boat ride, entertaining staff, breathtaking views, great music. ABC grocery store across the street, a gas station and pizza place right next door made everything super accessible. I have zero complaints and would absolutely go here again. Thanks for making this part of our first Hawaii trip a breeze! Specially to Kim who helped with rooms, and all the extra local info you could give- your amazing:)
