The property is located right in the heart of Waikiki beach. If you are trying to decide between Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort or the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, I visited both properties. Outrigger Reef is newer and therefore aesthetically more pleasing. It’s laidback and quiet. The beach access is small and rocky. But it’s a great choice. The Outrigger Waikiki is a little outdated and the rooms are small. However, it’s located right in the heart of everything. The hotel sits on Waikiki beach. We decided on Outrigger Waikiki and was the best choice for us.

Staff was very helpful. One of them even gave us complimentary yummy treats for our birthdays. We loved the location. Close to everything. Rooms were clean. We tried dining at Dukes. Food was OK and overpriced.

I love this place and we've been coming here yearly for years. We always get the same type of room. Housekeeping staff is always very nice and do an awesome job cleaning our room everyday. Valet guys are also very nice as well as the front desk. Hotel has great shopping and a convenient ABC store. 2 great restaurants Duke's and Hula Grill. Nice pool and music near by.

Property and everything went well! We loved the stay, just wish the valet team would be as welcoming as the hotel workers. We enjoyed everything the hotel had to offer and the location is PRIME for Waikiki. I am a local and experiencing the hotel with Duke's as convenient as can be, we will be back. Worth it.
