The outrigger Waikiki beach resort hotel was a little dated, but the service from the staff with some of the best of experienced. The resort fee and valet parking fee mounted to almost $100 a day. The valley parking was only parking available on site. The amenities that come with the resort fee seemed minimal. One benefit, this property was right on the beach, so there Was walking across streets to get to the beach. Overall, I would return to this hotel.

The property is in a great location within waking distance to everything you need. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful view of the beach and Diamond Head. The only slight drawback was the size of the pool…it was a little small for the size of the resort.

I have been staying at the Qutrigger Waikiki Beach since July 1980. I still love it as much as I did back then. My husband loves it as well. We will definitely be back!

Check in staff wasnt well trained and can see difference on how they are welcoming. They were literally ignoring my requests. On VIP access, I have got partial ocean view room and hardly ocean was visible from the room. Rooms are so small and bathroom is super small. Room balcony is too small to stand two person. I did call expedia upon my check-in but not help received. Not to forget valet-parking. They are charing $60 per night and if we need car, we need to stay in line for 30 minutes to get the car. I took videos also on this. They call themselves resort but not even pool big enough like other others. Too tiny area for pool. No other facilities like any resort provides. Not received VIP ACCESS amenities except $100 resort credit. Room upgrade is just for the sake of it. Not happy at all! I will never visit this hotel and also understood VIP ACCESS is something expedia feels about it but properties dont care for it so better I will switch my vacation plan to other providers.

Great location, decent hotel, good value for the $

For a very busy location and lower lobby that fed into a popular restaurant - Duke's - once you got up even just one floor it felt like a decent hotel. The elevator security system that required using your room key at the call button which directed your elevator car to your floor (no buttons inside the elevator to change your mode) was actually quite reassuring that only guests were getting above the lobby. We had a city view with a nice slice of ocean view included and everything about the room was fine. No luxury, but good value for the money compared to pricing of hotels on either side. Would stay again, but would also consider trying something else. The location really is the biggest draw though. Great beach right at the hotel and on the street side it is in the center of it all. A walk in either direction gets you all the Waikiki action you can possibly desire.
