Key card reader in elevator did not work with both of my cards. Luther guest having the same issue. Window ac was noisy Bathroom was not cleaned and had used soap in the soap tray. Rooms needs remodeling.

Not fancy but convenient
Location, etc. No matter what time you arrive you can walk a block to a 24-hour Walmart and get all the stuff you forgot. Ross is also across the street and the beach park is somewhat nearby. It's really old and not fancy but they have a cheap breakfast that is worth it.

The open air of the lobby lets the trade wind breezes cool the building. The staff is very personable and I'd give a special thank you to Carlos. I love the old furniture cerca 1950. I felt safe and slept well on the comfy bed. The only problem is that there is a $30 a day extra fee for "amenities" that I did not know about or budget for. I didn't see any info about this on hotel website or Expedia. There is no way out of paying as they just charge it to your credit card on file.

Good location near the Ala Moana Center and next to Biki Bike stands and not far from downtown Waikiki area. Decent $5 breakfast/person. Kind of dated, pool is closed. Unexpected facility fee on check-in. Still, a better value than Waikiki hotels if you don't need close beach access.
