For the money I paid for this hotel, I am NOT impressed with ANYTHING other than the closeness to the beach,thats great. The lobby!! is beautiful, they sure did not hold back on money for that reno, but i wished they would have saved some money for the rooms, as i dont pay to sleep in a lobby.We were put in a room on 5th floor, the noise from the street is unbearable,you will not sleep at all, believe me, not to mention absolutely filthy dusgusting curtains,both sheer and blackouts we were scared to touch them in both rooms .Lock on the sliding door , broken ,My husband was told when he called after our return, it just had to be 'jiggled'! Manager he spoke to, told my husband we seemed happy with everything when checking out!!,At one point we had no cold water in the shower after returning from a whole day at the beach, I couldnt even get a printed detail of my room charges from front desk, you need to cause a rucus i guess to let them know you are unhappy with things.Daughter and I were finally moved to top floor, after lady at front desk told us street noise is out of their hands!....how about you mention to people,they will hear A LOT of noise from this floor maybe? we got the cold shoulder from check in staff , after i complained about 5th floor room, towel/key person was a gem tho.I will never return to this hotel,or recommend it, it is a pig with lipstick on it, and I fully regret staying here , one restuarant on the property, ....hope you like Japanese.
