Great Hotel in a great location....all the main areas of Honolulu are walkable. If I had only one compliant is the resort fee, there are no real amenities outside the pool.

I should have checked the amenities list,but never thought a nice hotel would not have microwave ovens and they don't plan on ever having them. Room service for cleaning was available every other day. I was there 6 days and my room was cleaned once. No coffee maker,just an electric kettle with coffee pods. Only 2 "regular"electrical outlets in room, the one in bathroom didn't work.

we all loved our stay at this hotel!! it was so close to everything and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful and sweet. the room was very clean and they had beach towels for us to use as well as free bike rentals among many other things. definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Central location/best for young adults

This was our first time in Hawaii. We did enjoy our time spent there, especially at the beach. We stayed for 2 nights. Pros: *Walk a few blocks to beach - about 7 minutes *Free beach towels from hotel - there are also free beach item rentals from a local place but we did not try it out bc it was about a 15 to 20 min walk from hotel. We just preferred to stay close. *Plenty of food options nearby for all meals and lots of ABC stores for snacks and essentials *Close to bus stops *Lots of shopping *Bed was very comfortable *Staff was friendly and helpful *We were able to check in early which we really appreciated to be able to rest after a long flight. Cons: *Shower has a partial glass wall about 12 inches wide and water gets all over floor. Their fix is to send a person with extra towels. *There are events at their hotel that cam get loud and busy. On the nights we stayed there was an event at the pool area outside our room both nights. At times it was loud but due to our exhaustion it didn't end up bothering us too much. *There is not daily cleaning of your room. I did not like having a pile of wet towels from the shower or garbage not removed. By the time we returned to our room in the evening we were vwry tired and did not ask them to take care of it. We checked out the next day so it wasnt too bad, but I wouldn't want to not have no room cleanup if we were there multiple days. In all it was a good stay and it seemed like many young adults enjoyed the accommodation.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly and the ambiance of the hotel was excellent. I also liked having everything within walking distance. I liked that the hotel made hand soap, shampoo n conditioner and body wash available and all the other helpful things such a hair dryer, steamer, etc. There were a few things that I didn’t like. For example, the carpet in our room wasn’t clean and it didn’t get vacuumed. Linens were never refreshed. The beds were made but I found things I had misplaced inside the bed sheets. The toilet didn’t look like it had been washed and the baseboards were very dusty. So it was behind the toilet and under the sink. But the cleaning ladies were very nice and friendly.

hotel service was terrible. we have breakfast included room but we learned that we have only $30 limit and there was no option for eating, Also there was a wall in front of the room and I didn't like the room. In addition housekeeping is not working well. When we requested to fresh towels they came and change. Otherwise no-one come to clean the room.

We stayed at Romer House for 6 days of our Hawaii vacation and LOVED it. The space is beautiful and newly renovated, they did a great job. The pool and bar was perfect for us (not big swimmers). You definitely have to try the food at the restaurant. We also loved that it was adults only. PERFECT location steps away from restaurants, a large mall, target, transit etc… They don’t have a gym but they allow you attend a gym at a partner hotel close by (10min walk away). We loved this option to allow us to get in a short walk to and from the gym. The staff was the best! Very attentive and good vibes all around! They offer morning fitness classes by the pool. We weren’t able to take them everyday but LOVED the one class we took and would’ve loved to take more. I would’ve also appreciated more group activities! The only thing we wish was different is that, as much as we loved the DJs, most of the sets were quite loud. We wanted to hang out in the lobby or bar for happy hour, but it was honestly too loud to have a decent conversation. They hair few external events, so expect the lobby and bar to get busy some nights. I also wish the lobby area was a bit bigger to have an indoor lounging option. I would highly recommend this spot! Will be back for sure!

The staff is approachable, friendly, and I loved how each evening I came in the said, " welcome home." The room was lovely, like the wooden amour, the decorations, and the very useful easily reusable aluminum complementary water bottles. Loved the lively, beats the DJ put down! All -in-all great stay. The bar crew, was super sweet with the note on the napkin. I'll be going back.

Absolutely loved staying here! As a group of girls coming for spring break, it was exactly how I imagined. The hotel is pretty and the rooms were spacious and neat. It was walkable for any spot in Waikiki that we had planned to see. The only thing to note is the $50 per night resort fee, but aside from that, I enjoyed my time here!

Excellent property for short gateway- the staff is really exceptional. It has cool, modern vibe and excellent Japanese restaurant. Note it can be noisy on the weekends but that didn’t bother us too much.
