Pros: Perfectly located near Ala Moana mall, Walmart etc. parking is tricky due to limited street parking around the neighborhood although valet parking is available with a fee. The suite room we stayed in was perfect for the duration of our stay since there was a mini kitchen with min fridge, electric stove, dishes with utensils, microwave in which baking was available and stacked washer/dryer. Toiletries were provided as well was laundry soap. The bed was comfortable, cozy and clean. Cons: Front desk was hard to reach out when calling from the outside. It was tricky getting supplies for the room due to miscommunication from the front desk to the house keeping staff.

We stayed here again because of great views in clean rooms with great customer service. Also the location with a Walmart behind for souvenirs and the Ala Moana mall in front with a big beach in front of that, all walkable. Dont forget the shuttle to Waikiki. Concierge service, spa, family friendly pool thats not overwhelming for couples like us just chilling.

Renaissance Residence was such a great stay. Very clean and very friendly staff. The coffee shop was conveniently in the lounge. The restaurant and bar had some good food and drinks. A bit pricy, but expected I suppose. The hotel gym, pool, hot tub, and sauna were all very nice and clean. The hotel is also between Walmart and Target, which was a quick walk from the hotel. My only complaint would be the parking situation. Online stated there was parking available. The only parking is valet parking for an additional $50 a day. If you want to park it yourslef you need to find street parking. Also, be aware of the daily "resort fee." I understand it's a new hotel, but there are some kinks that need to be sorted.

In Ala Moana which is cleaner than Waikiki. Wamart next door and Ala Moana mall 1 block and the State park beach on the other side of the mall. Everything is walkable but they do provide a shuttle to the mall, park beach and Waikiki beach. Clean new rooms, pools, Jacuzzis, gym, spa, bars, restaurant. Staff are very responsive.
