We loved the convenience of location. Smack dab in Waikīkī but also felt like you were tucked away and hidden away from all the business of Waikiki. Right on the beach. We loved grabbing a quick breakfast at the RHB before heading out on our excursions. Truly a medical week!

It's a beautiful hotel, with great beach access, but very pricey. Meals at the restaurants are not very balanced unless you're willing to spend a lot (and I mean a lot) of money. Staff are clearly a bit desperate for tips, which can only be paid in cash. A few improvements, like a front desk card based tip option and a revamping of the dinner / breakfast menu would make this a 5 star experience. Still recommend going. We had a fabulous time.

We had a great stay at the Royal Hawaiian. The staff and grounds are absolutely amazing. I loved all the included activities (we did bracelet making, the tour, and ukulele lessons) with the resort fee. It is in the heart of Waikiki and the beaches are beautiful there. Super walkable to all the shopping and restaurants. Parking was easy also in the Sheraton parking lot.

Loved everything about my stay. Only recommendation would to allow females at the Mai tai bar to use the restroom inside the restaurant 10 feet away instead of having them walk a long distance for that. It’s safer for them and should be a choice

A magical property with gorgeous 1920s architecture and tropical gardens. Very unlike most surrounding properties/hotels in Waikiki. Parking very convenient. Would definitely choose again and again. A complete and total WOW. We stayed in one of the historical rooms with high ceilings, not the modern tower, which I'm sure is nice too.

It is a grand old hotel. The rooms are nice but not spectacular. The service is very good. The location is it's biggest asset. It is the centre of Waikiki. You pay for that provilege

I would be hard pressed to stay anywhere on Waikiki, other than the Royal Hawaiian. This is a marvelous hotel. There are two walking paths to the Royal Hawaiian shopping center. One goes straight to the food court, which is awesome! The people at this hotel are beyond marvelous. I think I could write an essay on how wonderful this hotel is, in addition to the people who work here. The pools are marvelous! This hotel shares a pool with slides at the Sheraton. The Mai Tai bar and bakery are wonderful. The shopping is great, and there is quite a bit of shopping at the Sheraton next door.
