This is a great hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic with lots of gluten free options. The hotel is close to the beach, shopping and amazing food. The bus is right outside to go to many of the attractions around Waikīkī. Rooms are on the small side but you don’t come to Waikīkī for the room so it suited us just fine.

Great hotel in good location
Great hotel in great location. Only hotel i stayed in US that you got value from amenity fee. Good breakfast. 24 hr hot drinks and microwave. Rooms that had windows that opened and great value. Would recommend to anyone

The most unique about staying in the property was not only the beautiful place itself but the extraordinary customer service provided by the whole team as a unit. From checking in at the lobby, to the team whom operated the valet parking. Each and every team member provided extraordinary service like no other, i would highly recommend the vive hotel to friends and or family.

This was our second stay at the Vive Hotel and I can only recommend staying there. We stayed for 2 nights to do some shopping and easy access to get to the airport in the early morning. The rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast is good and they even packed us a to-go package as we left at 4:30am for the airport. They provide beach towels, chairs etc for no extra cost. Easy walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Looking forward to staying at Vive Hotel again on our next Hawai’i trip.

Don’t know why the charge a daily amenity charge, this place gives you nothing but a continental breakfast. Small stinky elevators, AC in rooom is noisy. Room is like a cracker box. Pictures on internet don’t seem to accurately reflect on room. Don’t know how this place rates a 9, what a joke, don’t book here. $40.00 a night to park in a garage that is ridiculous to even drive into. Building has Halogen light bulbs which is crazy why they don’t convert to LED. They are in rooms, hallway. Building should be torn down!

How this property earned a 9 rating is truly a mystery…hallways were hot and lacked the cleanliness noted in other reviews. The room had a non functioning window ac unit leaving the room unbearably hot thru much of our abbreviated stay. Room cleanliness was not acceptable with filthy carpet being a prime concern with the stench of sewer gas in the room was overwhelming. The facility lacked dining and a bar with the staff suggesting that our best option was to search out a food truck. Individuals were sleeping near the entrance. We chose to stay one evening before abandoning our paid reservation to seek out suitable accommodations elsewhere on the island. On a positive note the desk attendants were cheerful and attempted to be helpful but their great attitude could not possibly overcome the deficiencies of the facility. In no way would I recommend the property, as for a rating…a 6 would be more appropriate.

We had the rooom facing the street therefore was very noisy. The portable AC was loud and was unable to have a good sleep. The staffs, especially Corey was very helpful and nice. We just came off the cruise and went straight to the hotel and was able to get early check in. They are very accommodating.
