Hotel was clean, staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The bed is very firm and it caused me back pain, otherwise everything was great! I took my kids there to swim and they had fun. The pool and area is heated, and a good size. Our dinner options were good bc the hotel has restaurants in walking distance. Definitely recommend.
Beware of room 214. It is directly above the main entry doors, that are OLD and LOUD. You will NOT get sleep in 214. Every time the main door opens, it sounded like someone was running across our room.
Property was well cared for however on the first day of our stay our tv stopped working and maintenance was unable to repair it. We were offered another room but declined. We got a $15. gift certificate from Panera. Also the room looked and smelled clean but if you look closely dust bunnies in the corners and around toe air conditioner. I look closely because I had my grands in the room and they find everything.
The room smelled musty so I light a candle. I was charged a $265.00 smoking fee for having a CANDLE in the room! Completely unacceptable!!!! The manager Claudia (who barely looked at me during check in) said the housekeeping supervisor had evidence of smoking in the room. I asked them to send me the pictures...it's been hours, no pictures!!! I have contacted my bank to dispute. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
Clean and comfortable. Quick/easy check-in. Bed very comfortable, including pillows. Kind of weird that the bathroom door is barn style and didn’t actually close all the way. Pool hours were limited so we couldn’t take our kids swimming in the morning so that was a bummer, but overall, highly recommend for travelers.
The positives: Fantastic check in. The lady at the front desk was so nice! The property seemed very well taken care of.
The negatives: The elevator was not working when I arrived. It was being worked on, so I had to take the stairs to get my things to my room. After the elevator was fixed, it was extremely shaky when going up or down in it. It didn't feel too safe. Usually a hair dryer is provided in hotel rooms, there was not one here. Also, the pillows are so thin! They definitely need to have at least a few firm pillows in the room.
