The hotel was nasty. I have pictures of all the mold in the shower and carpet. We would have changed hotels had we not been there for our engagement pictures and i couldnt walk far due to a recent surgey. Upon arriving we were told rhis was the only room thwy had left so we were at theor mercy.

Overall, I had a great stay in Hot Springs. Unfortunately there was sort of a lot of mold in my shower and the noise from the lobby was very loud in my second floor room until 11:30 or so. I think on another floor I would have been happy but I was hoping for quiet time and did not find that.

Overall, it's a great historical site and we enjoyed that. There are some areas in the bathroom where paint was peeling above the shower and also some spots around the sink that needs a little help. I think the windows could be new and there was maybe a protective layer on it that made it seem dirty and I couldn't take a picture out of it. We enjoyed our stay and some of these things come with age! I will have to plan ahead and book the spa next time!

The Hotel is very historic and for that alone it is great. They have redone the lobby which is beautiful. Where you see that the lack of care is in the rooms. Bad paint jobs, sort of clean, but nothing special. In addition don't let the price fool you. On top of that is a resort fee and if you want to park on the property there is another fee. We have stayed here before several years ago and it was very nice. After this trip I don't know that we would stay there again.

There is definitely historical charm and great architecture. Once remodel is complete this will a wonderful place to stay. The remodel is not a deal-breaker for staying there, but is something that some would want to avoid.

The breakfast was good. So was the dinner but if that's a little expensive. The hotel is very run down even though it's a hundred years old it could be fixed up better. They're saying they're remodeling it but I don't see where the remodeling thing at. The carpet in the baseboards in our room were deplorable. The White staff was very friendly. Met a lot of awesome people staying there that was my most fun part of staying in this hotel. Meeting so many people that were so nice . They charge you a water fee a resort fee in parking fee on top of the high price that you had to pay for the room. You're in some dental fees were $50 a night per night. I end up spending about $2,700 to stay in this hotel for two nights and for the services . We did the bath the massage and the facials. Love's going to this place been here many times. But after this last time I probably will never go again. Way too much money I will be finding a new resort.

Sadly being woken up to loud consistent banging, hammering, apparently the renovation although not on our floor is still disruptive and they started at 7am, by 7:30 it was unbearable for sleep. I suggested to desk staff that when complete guests who had to endure construction zone should be offered a free night, buy one get one or something as compensation. It would be nice to see the grandeur promised. Now bathrooms and carpets are filthy. Just not 3star, today.

The shower in the bathroom was moldy and the carpet had stains. Room service food was delivered cold. Enjoyed the live music and bar/lobby area. They are renovating/remodeling which is long overdue.

Paradise in Hot Springs
This is an older hotel, historic actually, to think that Babe Ruth slept right down the hall was pretty cool. That being said, the bed was comfy, the a/c worked flawlessly.TV was fine. The people were very nice and hospitable. Location is perfect, what more do you need?

Historic Charm
The Arlington is historic. So you can take the make of that what it is. Its Old. But has amazing charm. The lobby is pretty historic as well as its location. The rooms are small along with the beds and all amenities in the room. Bit again you will love or hate this place depends on whether you like historic sites. If you love modern convenience and amenities you might look somewhere else.

"I have been here three other times and it's the only place I will stay. It's old, so it has all the old features a place will have. The location is great. The spa is a must-do. We did the works and it was great. I will definitely come back for this. I don't live that far from Hot Springs, so driving there for the spa will be no problem.

Wonderful location. Hotel main areas are updated and gorgeous. Rooms are comfortable and clean just well used and old. Bed was perfect and very comfortable. Would stay again if wanted to be able to walk to hotel and not spend a fortune

The property is showing its age and they are trying to repair it. The pool was nice the hot tub needs attention. Lots of smoking in areas that shoildnt be and the smell of Marijuana. We use to love this place and the area but its becoming run down.

The Arlington is under renovation. I did not realize our room was one of those that had not been renovated since probably 1950. Tiny bathroom, bad lighting, old & dirty carpet, paint chipped on all door facings. We were told renovation was started on rooms on the other half of the hotel, including totally new bathrooms. Let's hope. And hope they replace the carpet, paint, etc. Staff was great.

As an older property, I don't mind some "charm" of old tiles/fixtures/doors, but the carpet was incredibly stained and the mirrors were dirty. I wouldn't stay here again.
