My husband & I have stayed here for many years. We have seen the updates & renovations. We were on a spur of the moment trip & booked a room. We walked into room & all we could smell was MOLD!! So, we checked air conditioner, then saw a chair right beside air conditioner that had mold on the arm of chair! Another chair in the room was dirty with stains. Then we noticed lamp shades on the lights opposite the air conditioner were covered with mold! My husband went to desk & told the lady on duty the problem & we were given another room, however the mold room needs to be addressed! The old furniture & lamp shade needs to be thrown away! The room will never be clean until the moldy furniture is removed! 😡

Baymont two nights lake view

We loved the lake view for our two nights stay. The ice was right next to our room. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was very spacious with a window view of the lake. We would book there again.

The Hotel did not inform us at check in that we have to request for rooms cleaning and new towels before 9 AM the following day. They got me to initial several key conditions but not the room cleaning service. I assumed that they would clean and change just like all hotels would since i was paying $200 per day. The ceiling was dirty and we will look up while lying in bed and it is all black.

First, we stayed at this same hotel July 2024 so we rebooked this year July 2025. We enjoyed our stay. Positives: The only nice staff members who acted like they cared were the ladies who handled breakfast and cleaning. The view from our room was beautiful. Negatives: I have MANY, desk staff during check in, I asked him if I could purchase bottled water, he said, “At a gas station” next day I noticed an area only 10 feet from the front desk that sold bottled water and snacks. I guess he was too lazy to open it. The king mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioner loud, restroom light connected with the exhaust system and it was super loud. It has. First morning attended the breakfast area and discovered the water was not working so no coffee. Then the kitchen attendant figured a way to get us coffee then it stopped working again. Now the huge problem, the elevator, the day we checked out it wasn’t working, then it started to work. We were afraid to get on it but we did because we had three suitcases and my husband uses a cane. Then after we departed off elevator it stopped working again. I used the stairs to return to room for the last items to checkout. I had to asked the young lady at the desk that checked me out for a final statement printout and she never looked at me or spoke to me. I will be calling corporate about this hotel, we were so very disappointed. Unbelievable, we will never stay here again!

Great hotel! Not really in walking distance, but easy drives to all the hot springs things. Price is great because of this, and it was really nice and quiet for our stay even on a weekend.

No handicap accommodations available. Beds too tall and bathroom too small with no handicap bars. Room smelled like cat urine. Did not receive room service for trash and new towels.

Love the lake

The breakfast was pretty depleted by 8am. Also i am still concerned regarding the 106. payment taken from one account when the total amount was taken from another account i am concerned when i will get the 106 back.
