Great place with great attractions nearby.

Overall the property is very clean and in a great location. We stayed one night and unfortunately their water heaters had gone down the day we stayed. The we're up and running the next morning but we did not have hot water during our stay. Outside of this one inconvenience the stay was great. Mammoth site is a two minute walk and there is a great Mexican restaurant another very short walk away. I would highly recommend staying here.

Terrible Smell - Did not get the room I booked.

We had a reservation for a room with a king bed, but the room we were given had a queen. I was told the hotel was overbooked and king bed rooms were given on a first come-first come basis. I was denied a price adjustment. The room had a horrible smell that thought was smoke. The front desk guy said it was not smoke - it as the smell of oily tools owned by a guy who lived there for 6 months. He suggested I crack a window and given a can of Febreze. (The screen was broke and it was 95 degrees, so cracking the window was not an option).

Evening check in person was polite and very helpful. He helped carry our bags down the stairs to our room. Morning desk person was rude and dismissive. When I asked for coffee in the breakfast room, I was told it was frozen and she was trying to thaw it. That wasn't a problem, because we are human and it was a mistake to not ensure that it was ready for breakfast. BUT, she was rude in her tone (there was no sign letting us know it was not available or that it was being worked on). She finished her tantrum by telling us; "If you want coffee so bad, go back to your room and drink the crap in there!". Very unprofessional and rude.

Very dusty and dirty. Booked the family suite and areas were not vacuumed (especially behind the phone, super visible trash). With dust allergies, began allergy cough as soon as I entered the room. Thankfully allergy meds helped me make it through the night. Breakfast options were also very minimal.

This was the 3rd super 8 we stayed at on our trip through wyoming. The person behind the desk was kind, helpful. Seemed genuinely happy that we were there. The hotel is located next to a nice Mexican restaurant and the mammoth exhibition that i would whole heartedly endorse
