We had a lovely stay at the Zoa in July 2026. Positives: wonderful views, our room was spotless, and we had fantastic service from staff who were friendly and always happy to facilitate requests, including making reservations for dinner at local venues and organising transport and arranging for World Cup games to be screened. Special thanks to Jose, Marco and Salomon. Negatives: in a 5 star hotel it would be good to have a selection of wines available by the glass. Bottles of wine were good quality but very very expensive compared with other hotels we visited during our trip to Mexico.

My stay here was breathtaking -I felt like I was in my own Villa. There infinity pools and the views were to die for. The food was incredible. Important to note that the taxi takes you off Google Maps on a dirt road so don't get scared! Also the staff drives you on ATVs to different areas of the hotel.

STAIRS, STAIRS. STAIRS. Be prepared to go up and down the stairs to get to lobby, buffet restaurant, bars, beach, everything. Though they have carts who will pick you up, there will still be a lot of walking. I felt terrible my retired elderly parents had to walk so many stairs the entire time we were there. The staff were wonderful, buffet food was better than most all-inclusive. The main beach was calm and clear. Staff came around regularly to offer drinks and snacks (peanuts, seeds, etc). Would I stay here again? Probably not due to the stairs. By the third day I was over the stairs. We reserved 2 rooms, 1 which was easily accessible and another that required you to go down some stairs, then up to access your room. Well at check-in, the staff overlooked to give my elderly retired parents the accessible room so their initial reaction after seeing their room was not very good. Thankfully a cart driver gave us the idea to swap rooms and make the change at the front desk to reprogram our wristbands (which are also our keys). Again, the staff were all so wonderful and helpful.
