What a treat to be next to the kitchen. 6am wake up and wardrobe vibrated when they turned on the extractor. Which marginally drowned out the shouting to talk to each other

Great place to stay with dogs.

We stayed one night with our dog. I was a little doubtful on what the standard of room would be like due to us having a dog. The room was a good size, very clean and smelt pleasant. The grounds were also clean and plenty of small grassed areas for the dog to pop out. We stayed for breakfast which was hot snd tasty. All the staff where helpful and friendly.

Staying at this hotel is very convenient (have stayed before a few times) and ticks all the boxes with the great Italian restaurant on site. Great stay, very good breakfast. Good value for money. Will visit again.

Great welcome, friendly efficient. Unfortunately there were many hairs in the bath /shower/around the toilet and the bathroom floor was not clean and also had hairs . The bed was clean and comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel as a base for a friends wedding near by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was lovely. Will definitely stay there again if we revisit the area.

Overall, this hotel stay was underwhelming

During our recent stay at the hotel, I was initially hopeful for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of our expectations. The room itself was adequate but not particularly impressive. While it was clean, the furnishings were basic, and the amenities were minimal, which didn’t reflect the price I had paid. The breakfast was by far the most disappointing aspect of our stay. The selection was extremely limited, with only a few basic options that didn't seem freshly prepared. The eggs were rubbery, the toast stale, the bacon tough and hard and the coffee tasted weak. This lack of attention to the dining experience was frustrating, especially when breakfast is supposed to be a highlight of a hotel stay.

Worth it for the restaurant

I would, and will stay here again for the restaurant which is excellent. The hotel is ok. It is basic and functional, wifi is useless and sporadic. The breakfast is pretty good and staff are lovely.
