Comfortable room, coffee service 6-10am, beer and wine 5-6pm (all gratis) in lobby. Did not get to use the fitness center but it looked well equipped and included a climbing wall. Excellent restaurants nearby. Directly across from the beach and HB pier, beautiful area.

This was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in a very long time. Everything was clean and the room was very quiet! I could lay down and relax in this room and feel safe. It was such a restful stay here! I loved the location around the hotel. I could walk to the pier and watch the surfers. I enjoyed walking around and window shopping in the area. Those aspects of the hotel were really nice. I had breakfast before sunrise at a local cafe and listened to the surfers plan their days. I loved the decor around the hotel as well. They had incredible pictures of surfing and waves that spanned decades. It was worth stopping and looking at the pictures throughout the day. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I'll try to stay here again the next time I'm in town.

The hotel seemed great upon first arrival, however it kind of fell apart after that. On the first night the wife and I were laying in the bed hanging out. We decided to get up and shower and in moment my wife pulled the comforter back and we found bugs. We notified the front desk and a maintenance person and a manager came to our room and after a look they decided to move us to and upgraded room, gave us 100 dollar credit and they dry cleaned all the clothing we were wearing. I felt like their reaction was very appropriate at the time. Apparently the hotel staff did as well. The next day my wife and I went out for most of the day. When we came back the plan was to get ready for our dinner reservation. When we walked in room service had not come and I needed to request at least new towels so we could shower. They asked us to ensure we didnt have our do not disturb tag on the door which we didnt and I notified them were gone for most of the day. After 40 mins we at least got some towels. My wife and I had a nice dinner then returned back to our room. Again we were hanging for a bit then our room filled with the stank smell of weed coming from somewhere else on the floor. Pretty annoying again not the hotels fault but just added to the annoyances of our stay. We checked out today, we never heard from the manager again even though we were told they would let us know if the bugs were bed bugs or not. Just a disappointing trip for wife and I.

Our new local getaway spot

Everything was above and beyond what I expected. The service received from check in till check out. Mainly the service received from Jackson at front desk, from the moment when I was checking in. I’ve worked in customer service over 20 years and I believe that he’s an incredible asset to your company and would make a great assistant manager going to manager over time. Well maintained property, amazing location, everything the hotel has to offer and the restaurant was next level. And it was pet friendly, we were able to bring our 2 dogs to celebrate my wife’s birthday and ended up extending for another day, wanted to stay longer, but had to go back home and get back on schedule.
