You can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms and hallway. The air handling unit inside is quite noisy. Check in experience was interesting. While on a phone call, the attendant put down the phone only to ask my name, and tell me breakfast was at 7am. Then went back to the call, and handed me a key, and the credit card terminal for the incidental charge/hold.

I do not like carpet in public hotel rooms. As a business traveler I can say I’ve never in 30 years seen a hotel cleaning carpets. I’m sure it happens but it must be rare. Why not use materials that can be washed after guests like vinyl, woods, pleather, etc.

The first issue was check in. While the fellow manning the desk was polite and pleasant, he seemed to have a great difficulty navigating the reservation system. It took about 20 minutes for him to find a room for me when I had a prepaid reservation. The second issue was the room. It looked fine when I walked in, but when I got ready to go to sleep I discovered the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest. They were all bunched up down at the foot of the bed. I don't think that has ever happened to me before. On the bright side, the breakfast was very good.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel even though it is listed as 2 star. The only suggestion I have would be to at least have 1 movie channel like Netflix..or a better selection besides news and old reruns.
