Dan, the host, is incredibly helpful and friendly. He's always available to assist with anything you might need. The luxury tent is perfect for city dwellers looking for a "glamping" experience, as it's equipped with amenities like hot water, electricity, and plenty of outlets. Dan was very responsive and quick to fix any issues that came up. The experience is about natural exposure, so don't expect a five-star hotel. I visited in late September, and while some nights were cold, others were warm. The area also allowed for a stunning stargazing experience. Dan also went above and beyond when our car had a problem. He gave us great advice and helped us out, even though he didn't have to. We really appreciated his kindness and assistance.

Simple clean room. Nothing fancy but all we needed for one night. Dan was very accommodating and he was willing to start a fire for us if we wanted. Lots of great family activities on site (volleyball net, football, bbq area etc.) Great trail behind the property to a scenic river spot.

I booked a room at the end for a night before my Algonquin provincial Park trip. It was the perfect stop. Easy to drive back to Huntsville for dinner or any last-minute needs. Dan was super friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but comfortable. The bed was super comfortable. The vibe was awesome!

We loved our stay in our luxury tent! The location was super convenient for visiting Algonquin Provincial Park, but close enough to town to have good dining options (even for vegetarians). The tent was super cute and cozy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was also really kind and helpful. He definitely went the extra mile. We will surely stay again!

Wonderful Stay in Dwight

Dan was a great host and made us feel welcome immediately. He even took the time to send an email about places to stop and eat. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The grounds were also very nice with BBQs, picnic tables and lots of spaces to meet others staying at the motel. I would come back in a heart beat. Also located very close to great hiking including Limberlost, Arrowhead and Algonquin.

Special accommodation

Very special and nice accommodation on the hill of forest. Comfortable bed and good bedding However, we should have not arrived at night. Tent is on the hill of the forest and very dark to go there., and it was hard to carry the heavy suitcase accenting to the hill and stairs. We had to bring mosquito protection stuff. We forgot to ask for wifi password, thus did phone call to ask it, but the reception was closed at 10pm and no answer. The tent was located near the street thus there was constant noise of vehicle passing during the night.
