Dishonest staff/Fraudulent charges

During my stay I complained to the staff because I could smell smoke in my room and also in the elevators. I am allergic to smoke so by the time I stayed the night I was sick. I was told there was no manager to speak to and had to leave a message asking for a call about the issue. In retaliation for my complaint they charged me to clean the room, saying I was responsible for the smoke. I offered to give them medical documentation that I am a non smoker and have an allergy, and also access to my hotels.com account showing that I travel several weeks a year and always request a smoke free room. They refused to reverse these fraudulent charges. So be warned- they rely on the paragraph in the check in form saying you will not smoke---as a non-smoker you might not think twice about signing this but short of travelling back to this state and filing a law suit-- what recourse do you have against such charges to your credit card? I am still shocked and frustrated - I will never use this hotel chain again

The online check in was easy. I think this is a very nice hotel wish the pool was open a little bit later though to be able to get our money's worth. The breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of things.

This property is pet friendly and I love dogs but not when the owner leaves them in room alone. The dog barked all the time and anytime someone went by the door.

I had a 2 bedroom reservation and the toilet was stocked up with old poop and it would not flush. The front desk lady was nice and tried to accommodate us in a suit but the suit was dirty and the water in the shower would not drain. I guess the hotel is old and has issues with its plumbing. I do not recommend staying here.

Nice hotel, don't stay for breakfast

We stayed one night in the hotel. The room was fine, the hot tub and pool were clean and a nice temperature. We have stayed at other La Quinta hotels with delicious coffee and a great selection of breakfast items. However, not what we found here. Only sugary cold cereals, some reheated biscuits and some sausage. The coffee was very weak. Wirst coffee I have ever had at a hotel breakfast.

I didn't stay I check in around 12 a.m. then checked out at 9 a.m. the next morning. I was not comfortable here the room that was supposed to be non-smoking smelled like old cigarette smoke and the heater smelled as if some one urinated in it when we turned it on.

The hotel itself is very nice.The rooms are clean Very easy to park. Only problem I had Is the Pool temperature is way too not refreshig need to somehow cool it down. The breakfast was very bland but satisfactory And the staff is very friendly
