Our room had an air conditioner that did not work, a telephone that did not work, a mini refrigerator that was way too warm, even at the highest setting, and a toilet that broke. Management put in some temporary AC unit and a temporary refrigerator. But They would not change the room as they said everything was rented, and would not give any kind of discount for such a sub grade accommodation. The hotel itself was beautiful and so were the amenities and restaurants.

Amazing place for families with kiddos! Tennis, pickleball, canoeing, kayaking, nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna with lake view! Great breakfast included. We absolutely love it and will go back again!

The service and view is spectacular. Breakfast is a nice plus. The front desk embarrassed us by saying our credit card was declined. It was her human error.Other than that, the staff is fantastic. All the outdoor granite stairs need replacing before someone falls and hurts themselves. Its a great place to visit Muskoka at its best.

Great place to stay in Muskoka

Booked a 3 night getaway. Beautiful location with lots to do. Staff were very friendly and professional, especially Heather at the breakfast buffet. So friendly and represented the hotel very well. No complaints and would highly recommend staying here. We’ll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Windermere house, what a treat. It felt so luxurious. All the staff we interacted with were very kind and accommodating. The views of lake Rosseau are unbeatable, but the property itself is also gorgeous. There were so many activities and things to do you could totally stay here for a week and not be bored. There were tons of families with kids too, seems like it would be a great place to bring your family. There was shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball, badminton, golf, cornhole, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, bikes, pool, hot tub, saunas, bon fires, and more. Endless things to do. There is also a little beach you can go to and dock to access on the lake. All included in the stay. Which is great. Especially since it’s quite pricy to stay there. But a great treat.
