This property is older and had a lot of maintenance issues. The staff was really nice but, unfortunately, the air conditioners, in both rooms that I had, were not working properly and stayed warm the entire trip.

The clerk informed us at check in that they were doing repairs from tornado two years ago. The hotel was run down, curtains in room were dirty, walls in hallway and carpet visibly dirty. We booked for two nights and left after the first night. Layout of room was spacious, after renovations it may be a nice place.

Although under renovations (07/21-7/23/25), the room and stay were great! The staff and breakfast were top notch. Didn’t mind the 30 minute drive to Beaver’s Bend. BRING YOUR OWN 2-PLY! You will thank me! They had the cheapest John Wayne TP (IYKYK), and we aren’t TP snobs—this stuff was bad! But, all in all, very good stay after a quick trip to the dollar store! If we are ever staying in Idabel again, we will stay again.

Subpar at best

As of July 2025. The hotel is undergoing renovation. I'm sure it will look nice when done, but it is pretty ROUGH at the moment. Room is fine but it does not make you feel great sleeping there over night. Like staying in an abandoned building. They also have a new policy apparently that only allots for 4 dog rooms in the hotel and they charge a $50 additional fee per night. Not on hotels.com website. Pet owners prepare. Staff were nice, though.

1st off I requested a walk in shower and was given an handicap room with a tub, 2nd this was supposed to be a remodeled room and there were no baseboards, 3rd the room is very dark that u have to turn in ever light, 4th the way that the bathroom door opens up to block the sink and mirror, 5th the only mirror in the room was that over the sink, 6th is that there was no telephone in the room to contact other guest or the front desk, 7th and the biggest complaint is that the cooling system stopped working, they say due to the storms but it only rained that day. So we had no cooling for our 2nd nite stay and they did not have any other available rooms that we could move into. The lobby had furniture stored and they had signs indicating that they were remodeling and when asked how log had they been remodeling the reply was a little over a year. Mind you that this hotel only have 2 floors. The swimming pool wasn’t the cleanest and had chips of paint missing from the bottom of it…wasn’t a good experience at all…

#1. The property is being remodeled, so it's not super clean. #2. The front desk lady wasn't necessarily rude, but was inattentive and not friendly. #3. Our room was as clean as it could be with renovations happening. The shower area is in desperate need of replacement. If I had another choice, I wouldn't have stayed.
